The crows would land and feed for a bit. Then they would fly off with a noisy call. I was glad to get some close expressive photographs.

Going to uni

In the UK autumn (or fall) means the start of the new academic year, Shops under seige from Parent buying new school uniforms, and cars loads of treasured posessions moving round the country.

October Theme: Fall Transitions.

September 21st marked the official beginning of Autumn. The season is a time of transition from the heat and growth of Summer to the cold stillness of Winter. Fall is a time of falling leaves, bright colours, and harvests.

Fall is important in the human cycle as well. We harvest crops, and make preparations for Winter. Students head back to school and many tourists go home. Fall is a time of transition for us too.

Our photos this month will deal with both the natural and humans aspects of the season.
