I had a 'White Christmas' this year. I visited family in Whitehorse and got to see lots of snow.

Since our photoblog hasn't been updated in quite some time I thought I'd take the honor of doing it.

Poker is the king of cards. Quite literally. Poker is derived from the ancient word kerpo, which in ancient Mesopotamian means "ruler" or leader.

Actually to tell you the truth, I just made all of that up.

This is what I do with most of my free time. Swim. As you can see at the last meet, which was the Florida "B" Championships, I did fairly well. I was high point winner with 2 seconds and 1 first. Shown in the picture are my cap, googles, medals, and drag suit. Not shown my Speedo.

While I was in Pennsylvania I also saw my cousin's band play. They are four seventh grade kids who have worked hard enough to play. Their last gig, the one I saw, had 82 paying people in attendance. It was really amazing.

I took this shot while I was in Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. It was a good little get away, a little colder than Florida, but still good. The colors in PA aren't as vibrant as New England's, especially now that evrything is dead, but some trees and leaves still are pretty amazing to look at.
