Falling Blossoms

'Snow' Drift
Originally uploaded by firemind.

After Spring officially begins in late March the Cherry Blossoms begin to fall. Pink and white petals drift like snowflakes in the wind. They accumulate in ditches, lawns and everywhere else. As the trees become greener the ground takes on a temporary pink or white hue. Homeowners and other gardeners replay the fall leaf cleanup and sweep sidewalks and driveways.

The Cherry Blossoms are one of the reasons I love Victoria.
